About Sirkeci Hotel Group Sustainable Tourism Policy
Sirkeci Hotel Group, which has been operating in the tourism for more than 40 years, has adopted the principle of 'sustainability' in all its production and service activities in order to protect nature, natural resources and the environment, and to leave a more livable world to future generations by improving the connection between our employees, guests, suppliers and all other stakeholders.
Within the framework of this process, which will change over time, the following principles that constitute our sustainability policy will be regularly updated in order to inform all our on-site and off-site stakeholders accurately and regularly.
Before listing our principles one by one, let us declare our founding value; in our relations with our stakeholders, we do not make discrimination based on religion, sect, language, race, colour, gender, marital status, political opinion, age, physical disability and similar reasons, and completely respect fundamental human rights and freedoms.

Within the framework of all our activities we adopt as a principle to comply with national legislation and legal requirements,
2) Investment in Employee Safety and Human Resources:
We value people, and therefore our employees, and we constantly inspect all our processes and make the necessary improvements in order to minimize the risks that may endanger their health and safety and to prevent work accidents. We provide our employees with the necessary opportunities and resources to develop themselves personally and professionally by providing them with equal training and experience opportunities,
3) Guest Safety and Satisfaction:
We provide all necessary conditions in terms of physical security, food safety and hygiene, taking into account the health and safety of our guests as well as our employees. We attach great importance to daily cleaning and the hygienic conditions of common areas, especially within the framework of our sensitivity to cleanliness.
Thanks to the relationship we establish with our guests, both individually and through online channels, and with the help of the feedbacks we receive from them, we improve our service processes and provide feedback to them when necessary,
4) Energy Saving:
We are aware that our energy resources are limited and we monitor our consumption data to support less energy and water consumption. We aim to continuously improve our energy performance by using our energy resources in the most efficient way in our hotels and by increasing the use of alternative renewable resources in the medium and long term. In this context, we pay particular attention to the fact that all electronic products we purchase are energy efficient. We provide the necessary training to our staff on the subject,
5) Respect for the Environment and Waste Management:
Our main goals are to prevent environmental pollution, protect nature, reduce the amount of our waste, recycle or render it harmless by using our resources in the most efficient way.
With our Waste Management Plan that we implement as Sirkeci Hotel Group (Please click for details), our primary goal is to reduce the amount of waste, to manage our waste well, to ensure that it is disposed of with minimal damage to the environment, and to recycle the recyclable ones.
Within the scope of our Hotels' Zero Waste Certificate, separation points have been established at different points of our hotels for the recycling of waste such as glass, paper, plastic, batteries, etc. The collected materials are forwarded to local authorities and registered into online systems they have. 6) Sustainability and Promotion of Historical, Cultural and Local Heritage:
While historical and cultural heritage gives a country a unique identity within the international community, it is also of great importance in terms of development because it has economic value. Our employees receive continuous training so that they can introduce our history, cultural and local values to our guests who come to visit our country. In addition, some tours and local experiences are provided to our guests free of charge at our hotel.
